After many years, the city of Chicago has not back the will of the People...The Coalition to Save our Mental Health Centers, of which I was a part of, has finally taken the proposed legislation to the Capital of Illinois, Springfield. The Legislators of the State of Illinois Stood up and as of March 10th, Governor Pat Quinn has signed Bill SB150 "The Chicago Community Expanded Mental Health Services Act" into Law! I am proud to have been a part of this great cause to let the people decide to expand services in their own Neighborhood.
A broken leg, a broken mind...it all needs to heal
