Thoughts

• Is the universe black matter some kind of liquid?
• Cholesterol can be cured with a filter and an overnight stay at the hospital.
• Wild fires can be snuffed out with bombs dropped from a fighter plane.
• 40,000 will keep an inmate in jail per year, education or job training is a lot cheaper!
• Change the temperature of a hurricane and it will cease.
• 50-60mpg should be the norm on automobiles with 100mpg as a high standard - it can be done today!
• We the People, should hold a special election to fire Congress if they can not balance a budget.
• Children should get bonuses from the government for achieving high grades.
• Teachers should be accountable for the education of our children and along with this honor, receive double the salary.
• Classes should be taught strictly through computers and the Internet.
• Will the Sun flicker like a candle when it starts to lose it's energy?
• The Gulf of Mexico was carved out by a comet.
• I believe that Church is optional, however, belief is a must.
• Search for extraterrestrial intelligence (S.E.T.I) is cool science, however, I don't think they will want to be our friends, we have enough trouble being friendly to ourselves!
• Time, when did it start?
• We can apply the same questions about humans as we do with chickens. What came first the Human or the egg? My gut tells me we were created "as is" unless the first human did not have a belly button.
• Over 8 Billion people on this Planet and every being has different thoughts.
• Large Hadron Collider is a threat to the existence of the solar system, just think about it, scientist are trying to discover what created the Universe, then what?
• MLB players get paid way to much! I guarantee if owners had an open workout camp once a year, you would find 100's of players that can meet or exceed the skills of these millionaires in their oversized egos and little league uniforms.
• We have been drilling this Earth for oil for over a hundred years. It took that oil to settle millions of years. What is replacing the oil in the Earth that would keep those areas from collapsing due to weight that is constantly being applied from the Earth in the vacant areas left behind due to oil extraction (a liquid under pressure). Could these vacancies cause shifts in the earths dynamics which, in turn, could cause earthquakes?
• Can the US bail out students with student loans that are struggling in this economy. So many large companies are getting help with the governments loan approvals and going bankrupt yet again, why not help ordinary citizens with a bailout too!
• Charlie Sheen may have Parkinson's disease 9-16-11.
• Drop all the help that we are giving to other countries and lets help ourselves first. We are too far behind on technology and our education of our Children. Help American citizens first and make sure we are at the top priority and work down from there.
• Our Government has not given us a reason to remotely trust anything they are trying to accomplish.
• When we see a person who is talking to themselves on the street, we assume they are, but can we ever be sure?
• When will we get rid of the ole suit and tie routine, in most cases it is use to deceive you into thinking the person dressed and groomed on TV, in the office, in the courtrooms, in the classrooms, in the political arena (especially), is trustworthy.
• Scientist must look outside the box of their labs. Most illnesses can be cured with a combination of people that you find unlikely to help cure diseases. The combination (team) would consist of biological engineers, a chemist, astronomers, a math professor, a computer programmer, a graphic artist, a football coach, an auto mechanic, 4 star armed forces general, a janitor, an 11 year old child. All must be coordinated by a task manager, and then, we can start the attack on diseases that are destroying us!
• The United States will be invaded in my lifetime. China appears to poised to prepare for an invasion that would be targeted on the west coast in San Francisco, CA. In a full scale invasion, how many of today's politicians would pick up a weapon to defend their Country?
• Time is a prick, time is an asshole, it robs your moments to leave you with memories of those moments never to return. Life is a series of moments and in between, the relentless onslaught of empty time. This is why we rent movies, drink, and sleep until the journey concludes.
• We are running out of movie ideas and they keep remaking good movies and screwing them up! Recently viewed the movie "The Thing", not sure why they gave it that title if it was a prequel? To much dialogue and unnecessary characters, virtually no suspense, and I told my wife how it was going to end exactly even before we saw the movie. I went to see it because I thought just maybe they could get this one right. The John Carpenter version was suspenseful from the opening scenes, you think they would have least simulated the crash entry of the alien ship!
• Mental Health : People with mental health issues are the most least discussed in any form of government in the united states. There are more than 200 classified forms of mental illness. 8.3 percent of adults in the United Sates have a from of serious mental illness. When you or a loved one encounters a serious mental illness, politics is the last thing on your mind. Unfortunately, politics or legislation of new ways to address the financial crisis of taking care of persons with mental disabilities is left to people who can speak for the mentally ill as the illnesses does not allow you to function enough to talk to a representative on your own. I would call this voicing for the voiceless, the new Civil Rights!
